Tanzania’s Yanga walloped Ruvu Shooting 7-0 in a pulsating Vodacome Premier league match played on Saturday at the National stsdium,Dar Es Salaam.
Didier Kavumbagu opened the rout in the 54th second after a sublime Emmanuel Okwi who was playing in his debut since resolving the issue of his participating in the league.
Simeon Musuva doubled the lead for Yanga as Emmanuel Okwi scored the third in the 28th minute before prolific striker Mrisho Ngasa gave Yanga the forth goal just before the half time break .
Yanga came from the break breathing fire as they continued from where they left and in the 53rd minute Didier Kavumbagu completed his brace with a sublime finish as the scores stood at 5-0 in favour of Yanga.
Ugandan import Hamisi Kiiza and Simeon Musuva put matters beyond Ruvu Shooting with quick succesive goal handing the visitors coaches by Kenyan Tom Olaba one of their worst defeats.
The win catapulted Yanga to the top of the table with 38 points .
