Tanzanian giants Yanga are leaving nothing to chance as they pounce on the most talented players beefing up their squad ahead of the 2015/2016 Vodacom Premier league season.
Zimbabwe and specifically FC Platinum who were opponents of Yanga in the Caf Confederation Cup left a long lasting impression on the Msimbazi boys first landing striker Donald Ngoma who immediately fitted into their style of play.
Yanga were not yet done as they pounce and signed Platinum veteran football midfielder Thabani Kamusoko the impressive midfielderwho has been the Hurb in which all balls are tempered through.
The acquisition of Kamusoko is a statement by Yanga that they are serious in the coming season as he joins his for team mate Donald Ngoma who will definitely make him feel at home.
The former Dynamos and Njube Sundowns midfielder has reportedly penned a two-year deal with the option of another.
Platinum confirmed the deal on Thursday morning and is now awaiting his international clearance certificate from the Zimbabwean federation Zifa.
“He has signed and moved,” said FC Platinum in a short statement in response to inquiries by New Zimbabwe.
Kamusoko impressed Yanga’s Dutch coach Hans Pluijm when the two teams met in the Caf Confederation Cup second round early this year where Yanga humiliated Platinum 5-1in Dar es Salaam.
The veteran midfielder, Kamusoko is known for his suave and confidence in midfield generating momentum that helps strikers shine.
