Defending champions Yanga Goya rude shock on the eve of the new year when they succumbed to their first ever VPL defeat this season going down 2-0 at the hands of Mwanza based Mbao FC
In a capacity crown mostly attended by Simba fans ,the CCM Kirumba Stadium in the city of Mwanza became a painful outing for the defending champions .
The loss leaves only Simba and Azam as the only teams with unbeaten records so far .
