Ivorian striker Yannik Zakri has joined Maritzburg United with Lebogang Maboe joining Mamelodi Sundowns Soka25east.com can confirm that

Both clubs have agreed that players and cash will be part of the deal for the Bafana Bafana midfielder.

It has now been confirmed that Yannik Zakri and Keletso Makgalwa will join Maritzburg United as part of the deal that sees Maboe join Sundowns.

Maritzburg United have reached agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns for the transfer of Lebogang Maboe to Mamelodi Sundowns for an undisclosed transfer fee as well as the transfer of the transfer of Yannik Zakri and Kelerso Makgalwa to Team of Choice.

The Ivorian who arrived at Sundowns in 2016 from Asec Mimosas,Zakri was on loan at Ajax Cape Town in the second half of last season scored four goals in 10 League appearances for Ajax Cape Town .

Zakri has been absent from pre-season training since with Sundowns since the end of his loan stint with Ajax Cape Town on June 30.

The players involved have all agreed personal terms with their respective new clubs and the transfer are therefore effective immediately.
