Dar es salaam giants Young Africans has been leased to billionare Yusuf Manji for a period of ten years .
This move followed that of rivals Simba who endorsed a plan to restructure the club ownership as another tycoon Mohammed Dewji expected to take over after his 20bn Tanzanian shillings bid translating to 51% was accepted
At the extra ordinary General meeting at the Diamond Jubilee hall in Dar es salaam ,The member endorsed the move to allow Manji to own the club for ten years .
With that,Manji will possess 75% of the clubs revenues with the other 25% going to the club.However the clubs physical assets and the Kaunda grounds will remain an asset of the members
Manji will run the activities of the club including paying of salaries and registration of players .
Majority of the members agreed to the request by Manji on the way to realize acquisition of revenue with Clubs board of trustees Francis Kifukwe blessing the decision
At the meeting three members had their membership nullified terming the decision as final as they have been sabotaging the teams transformation.they include Ayoub Nyenzi,Salum Mkemi and Hashim Abdalla
