Super league side Vipers have been boosted by the return of their leading scorer with eight goals Yunus Sentamu.
The 18 year teenager returned to Vipers on Wednesday and had his first training session at the club since returning from South Africa where he had gone for trials at ABSA Premier League side Amazulu.
The USPA personality of the month of January will join the Durban based side officially in May this year after finalizing his mega million deal with the Usuthu.
The former Katwe FC, Kasese Youth and Sun City FC caught the eye of Amazulu after his brilliant performances in Chan that saw him net Cranes all three goals in the tournament against Burkina Faso and Morocco.
He returned in the country two weeks ago but he was yet to report for training at the Kitende club because he has been nursing a thigh injury he sustained during his trials at his home in Kajjansi for the last two weeks.
Vipers have managed only three goals in their last four games so far in the round two of the league but with the return of the club’s goal hero, Golola believes that goals will start raining.
‘’We have been struggling to put the ball at the back of the net but with him, that problem is now solved. He is a naturally gifted striker every coach would have wanted at his club and his return leaves clubs into tremor.’’
‘’He impressed in his first training session on Wednesday and he is in available for selection against Entebbe Young.
Vipers and URA are joint toppers at the FSL table with 36 points.
