Egyptian club Zamalek are flying out from Cairo today to Morocco as they are set to face Raja Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League semi-finals first leg on Sunday October 18, 2020.
The players of Zamalek underwent Covid-19 tests two days ago to detect Coronavirus infection ahead of their flight.
The competition is back after more than six months of stoppage due to COVID-19 pandemic. Zamalek defeated Tunisian side Esperence 3-2 on aggregate to book a spot in the Semifinals.
Their opponents Raja Club Athletic club defeated TP Mazembe 2-1 on aggregate in their run-up to semi-final place. The clash promises to be an epic battle for these two giants of African footbll
The match is set for the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca Moroccco with kick off billed for 10:00pm EAT. The second leg will be played on October 24, 2020 at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
