Zambia: 3 Star Zanaco too good for Lumwana

Lumwana Radiants came into the match as under dogs and they lived up to that tag disappointing it was for their travelling fans.

Zanaco just proved just too good for Lumwana and it took them only 15 minutes for Fantastic Zanaco left back Fackson Kapumbu to score a good free kick.The first half ended one nil with Zanaco controlling the run of play.

Two minutes into the second half skip Ziyo Tembo headed in at the near post from a corner kick.Lumwana were reduced to ten men in the 52nd minute when Rodgers Mukenge was shown red.George Chilufya put the result to bed in the 60th minute with a beautiful header from a fackson Kapumbu corner kick.Three nil it ended in favour of Zanaco .Young Gozon Mutale from Lumwana was voted man of the match for his great play in the midfield.

George Chilufya ,Lumwana assistant said he and his player expected this .”my players gave their all and did their best” he further added.Numba Mumamba was disappointed in his players lack of discipline .”Am disappointed in my players lack of tactical discipline ,Numba said.”My strikers were not getting into scoring position were i told them to go” Numba answered when asked about his strikers failure to converte chances.
