MTN/FAZ premier league defending Champions Zesco opened up a 7 point lead on Saturday 22nd August after a 2-0 beating of Red Arrows at Nkoloma Stadium.Winston Kalengo provided the goals taking him to 10 goals in the race for the Golden Boot .This result means that Red Arrows have not beaten Zesco at Nkoloma in 11 games and in those games they have only managed 4 goals.Arrows last win dates back as far as 2004.With this result Zesco are separate themselves from the rest of the park by 7 points.
Forest Rangers Visited Nakambala Leopards in Mazabuka .Every premier league team knows a visit to the Nakambala Stadium is no easy one and so it proved for Forest as they went down 2-1.
Ronald Chibwe scored the only goal in Nchanga Rangers one nil win over high flying Nkwazi.
Green Buffaloes FC made a return to the Independence Stadium after it received a face lift.
