Chibulu Musonda Ba Muzo observed that it will be tough going forward but the team needed to believe in themselves to be able to get the right attitude to face bigger challenges in the qualifiers. He added that it was not impossible to beat Nigeria away and what was needed was the mindset.
He has how ever called on the soccer fans in the country to rally behind the team and avoid negative comments every time that would deter the progress of the national team.
“The fans have to believe in this team and also the players need to believe in themselves, will be going away to Cameroun, we have nothing to lose, But for the fans it’s important to believe because this coach can build us the team that if he doesn’t qualify us to the world cup, probably we could make to the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, you always build from the bottom and we down but not yet out.” Said Musonda Chibulu Ba Muzo.
Zambia plays Cameroun on the 12th of November 2016 in the second game of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
