Zambia has named their squad for the upcoming COSAFA Under 17 Championship in Mauritius that kicks off on 22nd July 2016.
Young chipolopolo side consists of 20 young talents with 14year old midfielder Sam Mbawe included in the team.
Zambia are the pre tournament favourites given their long history in age group football in Africa as well as the strength of their senior side.
Zambia will play their first Group B match aganist Kenya on 22nd July in a match to be played in Port Louis.
Coach Osward Mutwapa will be using the tournament as a preparation for Africa Under -17 championship aganist Sudan.
Their next match will be against Malawi at the same venue on July 24 while the final group match against Madagascar will be played at Stade George V in Cureton on July 26.
