THE ZSL SO FAR IN NUMBERS.
The FAZ MTN super league reached climax last wednesday as teams battled it out for a slot in the Barclays cup. Having covered half of the barbed race, the league has now gained its mental, Physical and Psychological balance. The top six teams in top flight half way the season have claimed their tickets for Barclays cup contention while the teams at the summit of all the division one zones also qualify to participate in the Barclays cup.
In this regard, Napsa stars have confirmed their participation in the Barclays cup while Power Dynamos and Green Buffallos will have to wait till they have played their games in hand before they will know if they will feature in the 2017 Barclays cup.
My concern however today is to bring you up to speed with the number of goals scored from week one through to week nineteen.
The Magic number is 353, thats the total number of goals scored so far.

164 is the total number of goals scored in the first half of the matches played accross the Zambian stadia.
189-
189 is the total number of goals which were scored in the second half.
349-
349 is the total number of goals scored in offensive play.

4 is the total number of own goals scored.
10 –
10 is the highest number of goals scored by one player. Our top scorer Chris Mugalu from Lusaka Dynamos has rattles the net 10 times.
