It’s off season in Zambian lower divisions,taking center stage is a number of ‘off season tournaments’.
On the cards is the Simwimba Christmas tournament scheduled for this weekend in Livingstone,southern part of Zambia.Set to wrap up on 25th,December
2015.
Thirty seven clubs plying the trade in Livingstone District Amateur Football Association (LIDAFA) and Southern Province Amateur Football Association (SPAFA) will cross swords on the pitch,setting their eyes on the K 5000 winning price.
2012 BBC player on the year and 2012 AFCON winning skipper Christopher Katongo was among the officials that conducted the draws of this tournament last week.
The winners will grab a price of K 5000 with two balls and a set of a full kit.The runners up go home with K 3000,two balls and a set of a full kit.The price for the third berthed side is K 2000,two balls and set a full kit.Final and fourth finishing side to go home with K 1000,two balls and a set full kit.
