Zambia U20 National team has been impressive ever since winning a record 11th COSAFA title which they followed up with a historic AFCON triumph on home soil, The Countries first ever continental trophy at this level.
The junior Chipolopolo have been involved in 23 matches since December last year with an impressive win rate of 78 percent. They have recorded 18 wins, two draws and 3 losses.
The three losses have all come in friendly games ( vs Barcelona youth team, Red Arrows and South Korea), This means junior Chipolopolo is yet to lose a game in competitive having gone undefeated in both COSAFA and AFCON.
The 2016 Africa cup of nation champions boost of a lethal frontline having scored 53 goals. The defense may need a little bit of work as they have leaked in quite a huge number of goals, 21 to be precise.
Spartak Moscow striker Fashion Sakala leads the topscorers charts with 10 goals despite missing a number of friendly games.
Coach Beston Chambeshi will be hoping they continue with this form as they face a huge task of becoming the second world champions from Africa.
