Zanaco FC’s stretched their lead at the top of the MTN sponsored FAZ Super League after dispatching Konkola Blades 0-1 away at the Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.Aubrey Funga slotted the all important goal in the 69th minute of the game. The win extended Zanaco’s lead to 24 points, 4 ahead of Zesco United whose match against Green Eagles was postponed because Zesco has several players with the Zambian team in South Africa and U23.
