Zanaco FC’s stretched their lead at the top of the MTN  sponsored FAZ Super League after dispatching Konkola Blades 0-1 away at the Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.Aubrey Funga slotted the all important goal in the 69th minute of the game. The win extended Zanaco’s lead to 24 points, 4 ahead of Zesco United whose match against Green Eagles was postponed because Zesco has several players with the Zambian team in South Africa and U23.

At Nkana Stadium in the City of Kitwe, New coach Aggrey Chiyangi started on the right foot when his side beat Green Buffaloes 2-0.Simon Bwalya and Shadreck Musonda  scored in the 7th and 69th minutes respectively to hand the hosts maximum points over 10 man Green Buffaloes. Buffaloes had Felon Sitonya sent off for a high boot on Musonda.

At Shinde stadium in Mufulira.9 times champions Mufulira Wanderers beat visiting NAPSA Stars 2-1 .Brian Ambugeni and Rabby Lwambula scored for the hosts as Keegan Zulu pulled one back for the visitors.

In   Chingola, Nchanga Rangers got their first point in four matches when they held visiting bottom placed Nakambala Leopards.Nchanga could have won the match had Fashion Sakala converted his penalty.
