German’s under 20 World Cup campaign was brought to an abrupt halt as the Under 20 African Champions triumphed in the round of 16 in Jeju.

Goals from Emmanuel Banda, Fashion Sakala and Enock Mwepu cancelled out a thrilling opener from Germany, which had given Germany fans hope of recording a passage to the quarter final! The game was forced into extra time when Zambia allowed two quick goals from Germany !
Shemmy Mayembe brought back the young Zambians into the lead with a goal 10 minutes to go before the end of extra time!!
This is the first time Zambia has ever reached the quarter finals at this stage of this tournament.
