Defending Champions shot to the summit of the MTN FAZ League table after a comfortable 2-0 win away at Lumwana Radiants today Saturday 21 October 2017.
The first 35minutes of the match was tightly contested and the game looked like it was headed for deadlock at halftime.
But Congolese striker Heritier Nkonko’s header put Sensational Zanaco in lead on 40 minutes to send the bankers with a goal a the break.
There was concern for Numba Mumamna when his defense pair of George Chilufya collided causing play to be halted.
Both players recovered and were patched up with bandages.
Zanaco looking for a second found it hard until the 84th minute when Augustine Mulenga found the net to seal a 2-0 win.
The Bankers now with 57 points dislodge Green Buffaloes but the army side can go back to top if they win at Kabwe Warriors tomorrow.
