Zanaco’s first practice session in Kigali was almost disrupted due to the bad state of training pitch. The 7 time Zambian premier league champions took to facebook to air their displeasure over the poor state of Amahoro national stadium Annex which is allocated to the bankers for training.
However, the 2016 Zambian Super league champions were forced to find an alternative by training behind one of the goal posts which was more conducive than the Amahoro National Stadium Annex allocated to them.
“The training pitch that we’ve been given is not in good state, we shall find an alternative in order to make sure that we don’t lose a day into our program.
We’ve done almost everything at home in terms of training and let’s not forget that we’re here to win.” Said Numba Mumamba
Zanaco were held to a goalless draw by the Rwandanese champions in the first leg at Nkoloma and will qualify even with a scoring draw.
