Sensational Zanaco Completed the demolition of Harare City this Afternoon aided by a brace from Captain Ziyo Tembo.Zanaco went into the game with an advantage having won 2-1 in the first leg away in Zimbabwe.
City opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Honey Chimuntuzero who shot a powerful shot which Raja Kola failed to deal with.Kola saved Zanaco on a number of occasions as Harare kept pressing for the second.
Ziyo Tembo cancelled out Honey’s goal in the 35th minute with a beautiful header from a corner.The first half ended like this as neither team could add a second.
Coach Numba Mumamba made 3 changes in the second half with Augustine Mulenga,Dave Daka and Isaac Chansa coming on.Ziyo Tembo scored his scored goal in the 76th minute,Then Dave Daka finished off what can be called as a beautiful day at the office for Zanaco in the 88th minute.
Zanaco will now face Stade Gabisien of Tunisia in the next round of the same competition.
