Sensational Zanaco beat Randanese side APR one nil to progress to the second round of the CAF Champions league. Taonga Bwembya scored the only goal of the game in the 17th minute from a free-kick.
Zanaco will now face a more difficult opposition in George Lwandamina’s Young Africans.
The football association of Zambia President Andrew Ndanga Kamanga has sent a congratulatory letter to Sensational Zanaco Football Club after their victory in Kigali.
In his statement Mr Kamanga said Zanaco has proven many people wrong as they were doubts after the first leg.
