2015 Zambian Young Player of the year Conlyde Luchanga has asked to be loaned to power Dynamos during the Mid-season transfer window which starts less than 4 hours time.According to a story in Today’s daily mail Luchanga wrote to Lusaka Dynamos Chairman Mofya Chisala [who has resigned] and Copied the letter to Football House.
Luchanga had his loan move to Power earlier this season cut-short.It’s Clear the players heart is at Arthur Davies Stadium, But is this the right move for the 19 year old Striker?,Maybe not.
Power Dynamos is surely a team that invest so much in young Talent and its no surprise the “Golden Boy” wants this switch so bad.
Is it his best choice?,Well No. Power Have four noteble strikers namely Martin Phiri,Luka Lungu,Jimmy Ndhlovu and Patson Daka , 3 of whom are proven strikers with a little more experience, who Luchanga will have to compete with for a starting place.
Competition is a good thing cause it can get the best out of players. Never the less a player of his calibre and age needs a team that will assure him a starting position and Power Dynamos can’t gurantee him that.
Sensational Zanaco is by far Luchanga’s best option or “way-out”, since it seems all he wants is to leave Lusaka Dynamos. Zanaco has only two strikers namely Dave Daka and Fashion Sakala both of whom can’t match Luchanga pound for pound.
With that said it must be noted that Zanaco has to also have interest in the young striker for this transfer to become reality.
