Ben Adama Bahn struck on 32 minutes to ensure Zesco United maintained their 12 year unbeaten record against Nkana in a FAZ MTN Super Division match played at Nkana stadium today.
Adama headed in for his first goal of the season from a John Chingandu corner to send Zesco United to 25 points and condemn Nkana to yet another defeat at the hands of Zega Mambo.
Walter Bwalya thought he had drawn Nkana level on 42 minutes but his strike was ruled for offside.
Kenyan striker Jesse Were could have made it 2-0 to Zesco but he failed to hit the target with the Nkana keeper miles away from home.
Walter Bwalya had a late chance to equalize but his header was off the mark.
In the end Zesco United stole another march on their title rivals as round one heads to a close.
