Zesco United striker Patrick Kongolo has returned to training, After almost two months of absence due to a shoulder dislocation.
Zesco United Team Doctor Stephen Mbewe told www.zescounitedfc.com that Kongolo started training fully after a long absence.
“Kongolo has resumed training after he recovered from a shoulder dislocation which also resulted in a hairline injury along the shoulder blade. But he has recovered now and has rejoined the rest of the team is is fit for possible selection for the coming games,” Mbewe said.
Mbewe also said that Jackson Mwanza has resumed training after straining his ankle during a training session two weeks ago.
He said the medical team is not attending to any player at the moment.
“All the players are fit and i hope that the others who have gone for National team duties in Kenya and Algeria will not suffer any injuries,” he said.
The Kenyan trio of David Odhiambo , Jesse Were and Anthony Akumu traveled for National team duties during the FIFA break ending today while Kondwani Mtonda,John Chingandu,Simon Silwimba and Fackson Kapumbu are with the Zambia National Team for the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Algeria to be played this evening
