Zambian envoys in the 2017 CAF Confederations Cup, Zesco United were handed a heavy defeat, 3-0 away at Recreativo do Libolo in Angola, on Tuesday.

The Angolan side, got more than a revange to the reverse fixiture, which they lost 1-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Zambia.

Recreativo do Libolo started like a house on fire. Their determination paid off in the 9th minute,as Julsy Kaaya put them in front.

Kaaya completed his brace, deep in the second half from a rebound after an initial effort smashed the post, leaving the defenders ball watching.

One minute late after a restart and Dauti Musekwa brought down simons in the box and the referee awarded Libolo a penalty.

Simoes took matters in his own hands and converts from the spot to seal victory for his side and put a final nail on the coffin of Zesco United.
