As Helicopter delivers trophy at Levy 

An 82nd minute goal from Lazarous Kambole helped Zesco United to a 4-2 win over Mufulira Wanderers at the Levy Mwanawasa as they won their 6th league title in a thrilling match.

Zesco United entered the match knowing fully well that only a victory would definitely assure them of the title.

John Chingandu gave Zesco the lead early on in the 2nd minute after tapping in a Kambole cross.

Wanderers who were looking to survive relegation replied immediately as Guilly Manziba scored a header.

Manziba gave Wanderers the lead in the 21st minute after he went past several Zesco defenders to score from a low shot.

Jesse Were who had missed several chances equalised in the 25th minute before scoring Zesco’s third in the 38th minute as they led at half time.

The second half saw Wanderers defender Mbelenge Pele sent off and Zesco getting a foothold in the match as Kambole scored the fourth after a defensive mix up to give Zesco a 4-2 lead as they held on for the win.

Zesco moved to an unassailable 74 points and the players, team management and fans celebrated the victory as the chopper which carried the $10,000 worth FAZ/MTN Super League trophy landed in the stadium to cheers.
