Zesco United will this Thursday square it off with town rivals Forest Rangers in a rescheduled week 22 fixture. The defending Champions are desperate for points having drawn their last game against Green Eagles. If they have to stop Zanaco from running away with the title they have to pick up maximum points in games week in week out and hope Zanaco drop.
Still bitter from the week 11 game which is the only loss recorded by the Ndola giants this season. Zesco will not want to drop any points because they have to catch up with the outstanding games owing to the continental commitment. Zesco have not beaten Forest in any of their last games losing two and drawing one.
While Zesco United will be playing for a potential 3rd title in a row their opponents are playing for Survival. Forest Rangers are 11 on the log and are just three points from the drop and with less than ten games remaining, this would be a good time to start picking up maximum points.
Zesco has seven unplayed games and the dates when the games will be played are yet to be scheduled.
