WEDNESDAY WRAP UP IN THE FAZ MTN SUPER LEAGUE IN WEEK 27
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WAIT FOR FAZ RESTRUCTURING FOR SURVIVAL
ZESCO ARE CHAMPIONS IN WAITING BUT NEED ONE MORE POINT
***********************************
Zesco United 3-0 Power Dynamos
Zesco are almost there as Winstone Kalengo breaks the 2014 season record of Jackson Mwanza with his sixteen goal of the season, heis on course to win the golden boot. But just as I said before the game, there only was going to be one winner in this encounter and it just turned that way as Power Dynamos ran out of ideas in the second half to allow Cletus Chama, John Chin’gandu and Winstone Kalengo score one goal each.
ZESCO open a nine point lead with three games to play and they are just looking for one more point to now close the door on ZANACO. This is done, POWER DYNAMOS today ends the title dream and they will be fighting for the second spot and they are below ZANACO by three points.

NKWAZI 1-1 ZANACO
In other results, ZANACO grabbed a point away at Nkwazi after leading through Saulani but Nkwazi fought for a point that keeps the Policemen at seventh position but Zanaco will be happy with a point especially that their competitor for second spot allowed three and lost away at the League Leaders and defending Champions.
********************************
KONKOLA BLADES 1-0 LUSAKA DYNAMOS
In Chililabombwe Konkola Blades got a rare win but it saves them well as they get to 13th on Log exchanging positions with NAPSA who are now 14th with a game to play tomorrow against NKANA. Konkola beat Lusaka Dynamos 1-0 and brings a serious relegation threat to Lusaka Dynamos who are now 12 and only two points above relegation zone.
*********************************
NCHANGA RANGERS 1-0 GREEN EAGLES
In Chingola the Choma outfit in Green Eagles leave the Copperbelt empty handed following the lone goal by Felix Nyaenda and that goal means Nchnaga end Wednesday on 10th position, two above Lusaka Dynamos and three below Forest Rangers.
*********************************
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY 0-1 FOREST RANGERS
Lusaka also hosted the Ndola oufit in Forest Rangers who are picking important points away from home and the victim was National Assembly who lost again as they prepare for Division One football next season.
Its now confirmed that National Assembly will finish in the bottom four and if the Saturday FAZ Reconvened AGM does not look at the restructuring of the Leagues then National Assembly has today been relegated from the Super League. Even if they win their last three games, they will end at 27 which is in the confines of the bottom four.
*********************************
RED ARROWS 1-0 GREEN BUFFALOES
Finally there is joy in Chelstone as Red Arrows stops the exploits of Green Buffaloes with a lone goal and that means Red Arrows go sixth above Mufulira Wanderers who play on Friday while GBFC maintains fourth position.
