Acting FIFA President who is also the African Football boss Issa Hayatou has congratulated the newly elected ZIFA President Philip Chiyangu.
Chiyangu a business tycoon was elected the new ZIFA president beating Trevor Carelse Juul,James Takavada and Leslie Gwindi.
In a letter addressed to Chiyangwa dated 6th Dec 2015,The CAF President says he his confident that Chiyanga’s experience will benefit football in Zimbabwe and allow durable development.
In other related news,Zimbabwe’s newly crowned most valuable player in the ended PSL Danny “Deco” Phiri in his official Facebook page thanked all those that encouraged him and his supporters for his fete.

In the ceremony crowning the winners Danny Phiri who plays for Champions Chicken Inn was named the best followed by Ocean Mushure who is a defender with Dynamos.The third was Highlanders free scoring striker Knox Mutizwa.
