The Castle Lager Premier Soccer leading scorer Bukhosi Sibanda has left Bantu Rovers, the club has confirmed.

Sibanda who found the back of the net ten times, is said to have headed to South Africa to join National First Division side Ubuntu Cape Town.

Bantu Rovers general Manager Wilbert Sibanda has confirmed the forward has decided to leave the club to join Ubuntu.

“We are happy for him and we wish him all the best and hope this is not his destination but a stepping stone.

“By offering him a contract without attending trials show that they have been following him closely and believe he can deliver.

“We are happy for loyalty and there is no doubt that he is one of the most outstanding players in the country at the moment,”added Sibanda in an interview with Zimbabwean online portal Soccer24.

The South African club owner, Michael Jenkins was not reachable to confirm the move.

Ubuntu Cape Town FC recently acquired Cape Town FC’s franchise in the National Fist Division and has enlisted former Bafana Bafana defender, Roger Links as head coach, with Jean-Pierre as assistant coach and former Eagles, Zimbabwe Saints and Highlanders goalkeeper, Pernell McKop as goalkeepers’ coach.
