Zimbabwe Warriors coach Sunday Chidzabmbwa has named his 18 member squad for the upcoming 2019 Africa cup of Nations qualifying match against Congo at the Alphonse Massamba Debut Stadium in Brazzaville on Sunday.

Zimbabwe lead the group G standings on goal difference after they beat Liberia 3-0 at the National Sports Stadium in June last year

The Democratic Republic of Congo are second following their 3-1 win over Congo in Kinshasa over the same weekend

The two top teams from each of the seven Caf qualifying groups set to book berths at the 2019 Afcon finals for Cameroon

Costa Nhamoinesu,Marvellous Nakamba and Nyasha Mushekwi are the most capped players in the team which is missing who are all injured.Chidzambwa has also opted to include Kaizer Chiefs defensive midfielder Willard Katsande

All three players established themselves as key Warriors players in recent years and featured at last year Africa Cup of Nations final in Gabon

Coach Chidzambwa must be a happy man with the form of exhibited by his South African based players ahead of crucial  Caf African Nations qualifier against Congo

The South African contingent of forwards Khama Billiat,Evans Rusike and Knox Mutizwa midfielders Marshall Munetsi,Talent Chawapiwa and Danny Phiri as well as goalkeepers George Chigova and Edmore Sibanda are enjoying regular game time with brilliant performances wich is good for their confidence heading into the crunch away tie

..The Warriors are set to travel to Brazzaville today as they want a good result to maintain their top spot in Group H
Mushekwi has been in top form at his Chinese club Dalan Yifang.He scored a hattrck last weekend to take his goal tally to seven in his ten appearances this season
