Khama Billiat and former Kaizer Chiefs star Knowledge Musona were on target as Zimbabwe qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations by defeating Congo on Sunday.
The Warriors needed just a draw to ensure a successive participation at the continental showpiece, while Congo had to grab all the points for a return to the finals since 2015.
Zimbabwe nearly broke into a first-minute lead, but Evans Rusike shot too tamely at the opposite number Wolfrigon Ngobo.
Ngobo soon felt the brunt of the Zimbabweans, as Khama Billiat found the bottom corner from a free-kick on 20 minutes.
The home side doubled their tally 13 minutes later, as Knowledge Musona pounced on poor defending to finish on the half-volley.

Congo were completely played off the park in the first half and they nearly further behind before the break, as Billiat’s header from a corner strayed wide.
The Congolese brought on their first change through Guy Mbendza for Prince Oniangue right from the restart in attempt to claw their way back into the clash.
For the first time in the match on 56 minutes, Congo went on the attack as Mbendza’s shot from a long ball forced George Chigova into a save.
The Southern African nation were in total control despite a few glimpses of threats from the visitors, who forced a save off Chigova from Mbendza’s shot on 75 minutes.
In the end, the Warriors completed were able to see out the closing stages to secure three points and a spot at Afcon.
