Fresh from winning the country’s Football Elections,Zimbabwe Football Association President Philip Chiyangwa has oreded PSL,The country’s top tier to do elections and have CAPS united Chairman who also doubles up as the PSL Chairman Twine Phiri replaced.
He has also announced he is going on leave and Omega Sibanda will be in charge of ZIFA for the month of December.
Chiyangwa says Phiri is no longer eligible to be the PSL chairman as the ZIFA Statue states that only a Chairman or President of a Premier league Club side can hold the office of the Chairman of PSL.
Twine Phiri sold the majority stakes of CAPS United to business partner Farai Jere and changes at the club have seen Phiri relegated to the position of Vice Chairman with Lewis Uriri holding the top post.
