The Zimbabwean duo of Tafadzwa Kutinyu and Danny “Deco” Phiri are close to securing moves to Golden Arrows.
The two players recently attended trials at Abafana Bes’thende, alongside their Chicken Inn teammate Moses Demera.
New information coming through from Zimbabwe indicates that Kutinyu and Phiri impressed Clinton Larsen and his technical team at Arrows and that negotiations to sign them are ongoing between the parties.
According to sources, the two players’ moves to Arrows are as good as done, with the parties dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s before finalising the deals.
In other news for the KwaZulu-Natal professional clubs, Arrows’ neighbours AmaZulu are believed to have secured the services of Prince Matore, with a view of adding him to their technical team.
Matore is expected to join the NFD side with the team’s newly appointed head coach, Joey Antipas, in July. The two coaches worked together at Chicken Inn.
