As Clubs are assured of receiving their financial grant
Football Association Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga has said Division One will continued to be played in Zones until Football House finds an alternative league structure ahead of the process to de-link the league from FAZ.
Kamanga recently announced the pending de linking of the league from the FAZ secretariat thus sparking a lot of discussions surrounding the league structure.
One thing that has been begging for answers is the structure of division One with the pending proposal of a National Division One.
Kamanga said this during a special session dubbed the *Hot Seat* in the _Zambia Soccer Update Whatsapp Group_ on Monday evening.
“For now the zones will continue until a decision is made. We already engaged all division one teams for possible national division one league which will be sponsored and broadcast.” He said.
The FAZ president also stated that the clubs that have not yet received the financial assistance promised by the association.
“The grants will be availed. There was a delay in reconciling the balances as some club’s claimed write offs which were not backed by any documentation.” Kamanga said.
