PWD FC of Bamenda have defeated Yong Sport Academy, YOSA, in the fifth day of the 2019/2020 Cameroon Football league.
Staged on November 6 in Bamenda, Northwest Region of Cameroon, PWD scored the lone goal of the match in the second period as YOSA bowed to their regional rival.
After several scoring attempts from PWD in the first half, the “Abagwa Boys” maintained their spirit of the first half. At the 49th minutes, Mienolf Chi converted a free kick to seal PWD’s lone goal.
PWD’s win puts them at the 10 position with six points after five playing days while YOSA dropped to the 12 position with six points.
Coton Sport FC brilliant victory over Colombe of Dja and Lobo puts them at the top of the classification table with 11 points while Bamboutos FC comes second with nine points after a 1-1 draw with Panthere FC.
Union Sportif of Douala moves up to the third position following their 2-1 win over regional rivalry, Avion Academy.
Avion Academy, Stade Renard and Tonnere Kalara Club of Yaounde who are still having a delay match are currently occupying the bottom of the table with 4, 3 and 2 points respectively.
