MTN/FAZ super League side Nkana Football Club last evenning held the annual awards gala and as expected the League topscorer Walter Bwalya was the centre of atttention having foundthe back of the net 24 times.
Bwalya walked away with a 3 awards having finished as the teams highest scorer, he was awarded with the players player of the year award and fans player of the year award.
Young enterprising winger Austin muwowo walked away with the young player of the year award while Simon Bwalya was given the award fpr most consistent player.
2012 AFCON winner Joseph Musonda won the most realiable player award while team captain Donashano Malama won the longest serving player award.
The awards however did not inspire eagerness as the winners were known in advance as they had leaked hours before the gala.
