Kenya coach Stanley Okumbi has dropped five players from Harambee Stars’ camp in Machakos.
They are Tusker FC’s midfielder Humphrey Mieno, who is nursing ankle injury, new call up Maurice Ojwang of Western Stima, AFC Leopards’ prodigy Vincent Oburu, Thika United’s defender Sammy Meja and Kakamega Homeboyz’s Jeremiah Wanjala.
The Harambee Stars are getting in shape ahead of two FIFA friendlies against Uganda and DR Congo on Thursday and Sunday respectively at the Machakos Stadium.
Stars suffered a setback yesterday with the pulling out of three dependable players in defender Eric Ouma, sensational winger Ayub Timbe and Erick Johanna.

The visitors are already in town and are putting up at the Kenya School of Monetary Stadies, Nairobi.
