Aduana stars are the new champions of the Ghanaian Premier league with one match to spare, following their hard fought 2:1 victory over the Elmina Sharks, in a match played at the Nana Agyemang Badu stadium on Sunday.
Elmina united begun the match on the front foot controlling the match proceedings from the onset and almost spoiled the party for the 2010 champions when they took the lead at the stroke of halftime courtesy of talisman Benjamin Tweneboah.
The Fire boys responded after the interval and got the equalizer through Rashid Alhassan before Sam Adams converted a penalty in the 78th minute to earn Aduana their second Premier League Title.
Second placed Wafa academy relinquish their title quest when they went down 2:1 away to Ebusua Dwarfs.
Aduana FC will now represent Ghana in the CAF champions league.
