Aduana Stars Football Club and Kenichi Yatsuhashi have ended their association by ‘Mutual Consent.”
The decision to cancel his contract was agreed when both parties met on Monday.
This comes on the heels of the club’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage following their 6-0 thumping by Morocco’s Raja Casablanca last Wednesday.
Kenichi was appointed Head coach by the Dormaa-based club in July 2018 following the sacking of Yussif Abubakr. The latter was relieved off his duties due to poor results in the CAF Continental club competition.
The reigning Ghana champions are expected to name his successor in the coming days.
The Japanese-American trainer was hired by – Inter Allies in November 2018, 17 months after his stint with Accra-based Hearts of Oak.
At Hearts, he was loved and adored by their fans due to his style of football.
Kenichi led Inter Allies to finish 6th with 24 points after the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.
The 49-year-old has had spells with Qatar-based Aspire Academy and Japanese Professional women team – Suzuyo Shimizu.
