Asante Kotoko’s Daniel Darkwa has undergone successful surgery on his injured shoulder.

The left-footed defender, who joined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year-deal after leaving Aduana Stars as a free agent this season dislocated his shoulder during training three months ago.
Report went widespread last week that the former Swedru All Blacks player was crying for an assistance to treat his shoulder after he was charged GHc10,000 by doctors for the surgery but that amount has been paid as he successfully underwent a surgery this morning at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
This development was communicated by the club’s Public Relation Officer (PRO) Obed Acheampong via his twitter handle.
The 23 year-old spent seven seasons with Aduana Stars where he won the Ghana Premier League twice – 2009/2010 and 2016/2017.
Daniel Darkwa was a member of the Black Stars B Team that won the WAFU Zone B competition staged in Ghana last September.Darkwa could be on the sidelines for 6-8 weeks.
