Ghanaian football giants Asante Kotoko have selected the Accra Sports Stadium as their home ground for the rest of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
This decision comes following the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium by the National Sports Authority (NSA) for renovation works ahead of Ghana’s 63 Anniversary Celebrations.
In a statement released on its Twitter handle, on Friday, Feb 21, reads, “Management has chosen the Accra Sports Stadium as our home ground for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season.”
“Meanwhile, our FA Cup duel with Deportivo will be played at Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi at 3 pm on Sunday,” it added.
The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 to Aduana Stars in Match Day 11 game played at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Wednesday, Feb 19.
Maxwell Konadu’s men are currently 5th on the pile with 18 points.
