Nchanga Rangers Vs NAPSA
Nchanga Stadium
15:00hrs
Live of Supersport

NAPSA got a crucial victory in week 24 at home to Mufulira Blackpool and this would want to cement that with a very good result away to Nchanga Rangers. Nchanga Rangers needs to improve and avoid getting into serious trouble in the relegation zone.

Very few goals will be scored in this game, NAPSA is good at the back but poor going forward. Nchanga depends on which day they turn up and they could be very disappointing in some instances and play below par. NAPSA will be able to get to 28 points the same number of points that Nchanga Rangers have and even a 1-0 score line will as equal the goal difference of Nchanga Rangers and through the relegation battle into serious issues.

But Nchanga is at home and I think they will be pushed by home fans for a winner and easy relegation fears in this encounter. NAPSA has a very poor run against Nchanga Rangers and in the last 9 encounters, NAPSA has only managed to win two games, with one draw and the 6 are the Nchanga Rangers victories. The only encouragement that will give NAPSA some hope will be the 2015 season when NAPSA beat Nchanga Rangers away and that game played on 16th May 2015 ended in a 2-1 victory for the visitors.
Can they do it again? I doubt

MY VERDICT: NCHANGA RANGERS 1-0 NAPSA

KITWE DERBY

Saturday 3rd September 2016

Power Dynamos Vs Nkana
Athur Davies Stadium
15:00hrs
Saturday afternoon has a mouthwatering Kitwe Derby at The Arthur Davies. Nkana have had a relatively solid campaign including crucial wins away at Kabwe Warriors and recently at Nchanga Rangers. The other away wins for Nkana have come from Nkwazi, Nakambala and Mufulira Blackpool but that game was played in Kitwe. But this is one game that Nkana would want to grind a win and show supremacy over Power Dynamos.

But Power Dynamos have won 10 straight games at home from the time they lost to ZESCO United on 2nd April 2016 and that was the second game of the season at home for Power Dynamos. They beat NAPSA in the first game of the 2016 season. Power wouldn’t want to lose this very good home form to especially Nkana their biggest rivals in the Super League.
Nkana picked up a very good win at home to the league leaders in Week 24 at Nkana Stadium last week and that is a big boost coming to the Kitwe derby and Power Dynamos came from behind in Ndola against Forest Rangers.

The last game between these sides ended in 1-1 draw with Nkana equalizing to get a point at home but in the number of the last 15 games played, it’s quite a tight. Power Dynamos have 6 wins, Nkana has 4 wins and we have 5 draws. The last time Nkana beat Power Dynamos at Arthur Davies was on Sunday 26th October 2016 when Power Dynamos lost 2-1

WHO WINS IT?
Power Dynamos would want to close the gap to one point from Nkana and the Wusakile Boys would want to extend the gap from Power Dynamos to 7. These two wouldn’t want the opposition to be on top because just being in the ruling is already accolades that these two teams fight for.

It just squares this encounter to a very good game, I would be honest I have not been convinced with Power Dynamos and I think Nkana is better placed to beat Power Dynamos in this encounter. I think they have been rejuvenated by the introduction of Ronald Kampamba while Power Dynamos have been affected by the exit of Fwayo Tembo. While I know that Form is not a factor when these two teams meet. Am going for a Nkana win.

MY VERDICT: POWER DYNAMOS 1-2 NKANA
