Zambia Super league side City of Lusaka football club have refuted social media claims that they have fired head coach Hector Chilombo.According to Club Executive committee member and Public relations officer Alex Njobvu Chilombo does not even have an ultimatum.
“Rumors circulating that City of Lusaka have sidelined coach Hector Chilombo are untrue and unfounded. Further there is no ultimatum placed on his head,” he said
“Of course we are worried with the results that we are posting. We are passing through a phase. We remain confident that happy days are coming at Yamoto. We do not want to contribute to the high unemployment levels among our hard- working coaches by firing those that are in employment,” he added
City of Lusaka were beaten 3-1 at home by Sensational Zanaco this afternoon and remain deep rooted in relegation waters.
