Ghana has kept her spot in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA ranking released on Thursday December 20.
Placed 52nd last month, Ghana finds themselves 51st in the latest global rankings.
This can be attributed to the Black Stars’ 2-0 win over Ethiopia in the 2019 Afcon qualifiers in Adddis-Ababa a fortnight ago.
Ghana remain 6th in Africa where the Teranga Lions of Senegal (23rd), the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia (26th) , 2018 CHAN Champions, the Atlas Lions of Morocco ( 40th), the Super Eagles of Nigeria (44th) and Eagles of DR Congo (49th) make up the continent’s top five countries.
On the Global stage, the Red Devils of Belgium still hold the topspot, World Cup champions, Les Blues of France lie second, the Selecao of Brazil, the Blazers of Croatia, the three Lions of England, the Seleccao of Portugal, the Charruas of Uruguay, the Nati of Switzerland, La Roja of Spain, the Danish Dynamite of Denmark in that sequence.
Ghana will not be in action until March next year when they host the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the final 2019 Afcon qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The next Coca-Cola world ranking will be updated on February 9, 2019.
