Harambee Starlets coach Richard Kanyi has unleashed a strong starting lineup that will take on hosts Zimbabwe in the semifinals of the COSAFA Women’s Cup on Thursday September 21 from 17:00.
Making her way back into the starting team is lethal striker Neddy Atieno who has so far netted seven goals in three matches for the visiting side. Mwanahalima Dogo, who was rested in the last Group B match against Swaziland has also been included in the starting lineup alongside captain Wendy Achieng who missed the previous match through suspension.
Starlets will be seeking to maintain their perfect winning record when they face Zimbabwe who have only recorded one win in their three group stage fixtures. A win today will take Kenya into the finals of the competition where they will face the winner of the second semifinal game between Zambia and South Africa.
