Eyiah inked a five year deal with the French football outfit from lower-tier side Charity Stars for an undisclosed fee.
Confirming the deal, the CEO of Charity Stars, Samuel Owusu Amoah, said, “Ayiah has signed a five year deal contract with AS Monaco after passing his medicals.”
“We [Charity Stars] believe the club is the best destination for his development. We’ve seen what the club has done with unearthing big players like Kylian Mbappe and believe moving to France with Monaco will help him,” he added.
He captained the Black Starlets of Ghana to win Silver at the African U-17 tournament in Gabon 2017.
Also, he was the joint top-scorer with 4 goals at the championship alongside Guinean Djibril Toure.
Eyiah, 18 was among of the Black Satellite squad preparing for their first leg AFCON qualifiers vs Benin at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday but sought permission to leave camp for his medicals with Monaco.
