NKANA GET FOUR PASSED ZANACO……..MUFULIRA WANDERERS STILL CAN NOT WIN!!!
MY GOAL OF THE WEEK IS FROM RODERICK KABWE
**********************************
WINNERS AND LOSERS
NKANA 4-2 ZANACO
I never saw this score line coming and it is all joy in Wusakile and Nkana played one of their best brand of football in a very long time. Ronald Kampamba (Sate Sate), Walter Bwalya brace and a Simon Bwalya Goal was enough to dispatch off ZANACO and give them a third beating of the season. ZANACO missing their main man in the defence were found wanting at the back and this exposed Toaster Nsabata who picked the ball four times in his net.
Roderick Kabwe gave the league leaders some hope with the goal of the week but the day was to belong to Nkana as Walter Bwalya made sure the three points were to remain in Wusakile. Walter Bwalya has now scored 15 goals.
Sweet Victory for Nkana and a reflective loss for ZANACO

GREEN BUFFALOES 2-3 LUSAKA DYNAMOS
Lusaka Dynamos got one of the shocks of the weekend by beating Green Buffaloes at Independence Stadium and that was a vital victory for Lusaka Dynamos who are desperately fighting to get off the relegation zone. The victory wasn’t enough for Dynamos to get off the relegation Zone and NAPSA also picked a crucial victory. Lusaka Dynamos sit on 25 points same with Green Eagles and NAPSA but have poor goal difference.
Luka Chamanga, Mutale Bwalya and Webster Muzaza scored for Lusaka Dynamos while Jack Chirwa and Mwene Mumbi scored for the Soldiers. As I said before this game, GBFC have a lot to do and things aren’t happening currently and they are holding on to fourth position on a thread.
………………………………………………………………
NAPSA 1-0 MUFULIRA BLACKPOOL
NAPSA are off the relegation zone thanks to a goal from Alex Mwamba against Mufulira Blackpool who the serious weeping boys of the 2016 Super League season.
Mufulira Blackpool have played 24 games, won 0, drawn 9 and lost 15. We just have to see how long this will go before they Blackpool gets a win this season.
…………………………………………………….
FOREST RANGERS 1-2 POWER DYNAMOS
Forest Rangers failed to keep pace with the first goal and Power Dynamos was trailing but then that man Kelvin Mubanga seems to be enjoying scoring brace everything he scores. He now has six goals, four against Forest Rangers, and two against Lusaka Dynamos. That is the man who punished Forest Rangers and fans of Forest will not forget his name this season.
Well done Power Dynamos.

DRAWS
Mufulira Wanderers 0-0 Nchanga Rangers
Another draw for Mufulira Wanderers and that’s number 14, the highest number of draws in the league. What will hurt if that the team even when offered a penalty could not score and it looks like it’s a serious bad patch. What is good play without three points should be what is coming out from the terraces and that situation has put the team into relegation fears.
For Nchanga Rangers they remain 9th and surely not safe for the relegation fight either. It’s a tight race at the foot of the league table
………………………………………………
Nakambala Leopards 1-1 Lusaka Tigers
Nakambala Leopards lost the lead after leading for the major parts of the game and although the point earned the sweet boys 30 points on 7th position is felt like a loss. Nakambala led through Moses Siyanda only for Moses Sichone to equalize in the second half via a spot kick. Lusaka Tigers remain in the relegation zone.
………………………………
RED ARROWS 1-1 NKWAZI
I said before the game that this game would end in a 1-1 draw and true to my word that was the result. There is always unpredictable result in this fixture and the result mean Red Arrows enters 30 point mark on number 8 while Nkwazi will have to wait as a point just made the Policemen be on 11th position on 27 points. Not yet safe. Steward Chikandiwa scored for Nkwazi while Festus Mbewe scored his fourth of the season.
…………………………………..
LUMWANA RADIANTS 0-0 KABWE WARRIORS
Lumwana Radiants could just be relegated if they don’t pick up their home form which has seen them collect maximum points in the past. Goals have dried and things look terribly wrong at the moment. They get into relegation zone with a game in hand against ZESCO United. They have a serious challenge to get off the relegation zone and teams above them have also started picking points. It’s not looking good.
Kabwe Warriors made sure 6th position was guaranteed with a point and have 35 points as close of week 25.
……………………………………………………………..
ZESCO UNITED 0-0 GREEN EAGLES
Green Eagles worked extra hard to get a point away at the champions home in Ndola and you could see the frustrations that was with the ZESCO United team which are hoping to catch up with ZANACO with all the games in hand.
Man of Match was no other than Satchmo Chakawa who I believe is one of the best goal keepers currently in the league and he deserves that award. ZESCO still fifth with six games in hand. Green Eagles are going up and slowly making sure they are safe from the relegation battle. That point feels like the draw for EAGLES.

MY STATISTICS FOR WEEK NINE
Number of Goals scored: 19
BEST TEAM OF WEEK SIX FOR ME
NKANA
I was impressed with the display of Nkana and hence get my accolade as the best team of the week and beating ZANACO by scoring four was a bug statement.
MOST IMPROVED
LUSAKA DYNAMOS
Going to Independence Stadium and beat Green Buffaloes is not a small achievement and hence Dynamos gets my most improved in week 22
MOST DISAPPOINTING TEAM
MUFULIRA WANDERERS
The name is too big for what is happening and another draw at home to struggling Nchanga Rangers should have hurt and they take my most disappointing team of week 24
FIGHT RELEGATION
LUMWANA
Lumwana are in serious trouble and they are serious candidates of relegation this week.
BEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
WALTER BWALYA
Am going for Walter Bwalya. His work rate in the ZANACO game was awesome and he showed that he can both defend and attack. That’s a good attribute. He was also said as not scoring in big games and scoring twice against ZANACO should be a big statement. His second goal was a marvel to watch.
