Dwamena inked a four year deal with the Valencia-based outfit earlier today from Swiss powerhouse FC Zurich.
He spent two seasons with FC Zurich where he found the net 13 times in 36 games across all competition.
Dwamena, 23 joins compatriot and striker Emmanuel Boateng who bagged a hattrick vs FC Barcelona in the La Liga last season.
A year ago, FC Zurich agreed a fee with English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for the transfer of Raphael Dwamena.
He was set to join Brighton subject to passing a medical, obtaining a worming permit and international clearance but the deal hit a snag after he failed his medical due to a heart condition.
Previously, he played for Red Bull Salzburg, Liefering (loan) and Austria Lustenau.
The Nkawkaw-born has played three times for the Ghana national men’s soccer team, Black Stars and scored just two goals.
