The Syli Nationale of Guinea will be aiming for the full three points as they welcome Zimbabwe in their final 2017 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday.

Although their chances of going to Gabon are zero, a win could boost their confidence as they wrap-up their campaign.

Guinea are placed at third spot in the group with five points from one win and two draws respectively.

However, a win for them will not guarantee a spot in the tournament next year as they are behind the second placed Swaziland (with eight points).

In their first leg in March this year, both nations finished the match with no winner as the game ended 1-1.

On Kalisto Pasuwa’s men, the match is seen as a dead rubber but the Warriors are gunning for their fourth win to ensure they finish with 14 points.

Zimbabwe are already through to the Afcon tournament next year which comes as a major achievement for the Southern Africans.

The qualification is their second appearance after their disappointing first round exits in the 2004 edition which was hosted by Tunisia and 2006 in Egypt.

Pasuwa will now use the match as a tool to prepare for the elite tournament as they want to become a giant in continental football.

Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry will be the venue for this tie which is scheduled to kick-off at 19:00.
