Asante Kotoko Football Club have sent goodwill messages to Ghanian represantatives in this years CAF competitions. The champions WA All stars are represanting the country in the Champions league and Bechem United in Confederations cup.
The Ghanian champions have a tricky encounter with Libyan opposition in Al-Ahli Tripoli with the first league scheduled for rhe 10th of February in ghana while the return leg is on the 17th in Libya.

The 24 time league record winners have also extended their message of goodwill to the countries CAF confederations cup represantatives and FA cup champions Bechem United. This is according to a letter by club chairman Dr Kwame Kyei which was also posted on Kotoko’s Twitter account.
Bechem United have to have go past Algerian opposition MC Alger if they have any hopes of winning the prestigious continental trophy.

Kotoko have won the CAF Champions league twice in 1970 and 1983 while they have come out second on five occasions making them the seventh most successful team in the competition while they are yet to win a confederations cup title. Their best run in the competition was in 2004 when they came out second.
